My name is Ellie Moss BSc and I am the owner of Clear Again Ear Wax Removal. I am a practising Senior Audiologist in University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust, and have worked in the department since 2013. My role in the Trust consists of adult hearing aid work, paediatric hearing testing and vestibular testing. I offer private ear wax removal around my work in the NHS and offer day time and evening appointments.
Since it was announced by the Government during COVID 19 that routine ear wax removal would no longer be provided in NHS Primary Care, I have seen NHS Audiology patients struggle to access safe ear wax removal services with ear specialists. Unfortunately, ear wax removal is unregulated so it is crucial you are confident in the clinician you are trusting to carry out your care. This is when I decided to do my additional microsuction training though the Audiology Academy and start up Clear Again.
